China Electric Apparatus Research Institute Co., Ltd. (CEI) is an important member enterprise of Sinomach. Founded in 1958, formerly known as Guangzhou Electric Apparatus Research Institute, it is a national-level comprehensive applied research institution jointly established by China and five Eastern European countries. It was formerly affiliated with the Ministry of Machinery Industry and mainly engaged in research on the environmental adaptability of electrical products. In 2019, it was listed on the STAR Market of the Shanghai Stock Exchange (stock code: 688128). Using the National Key Laboratory of Environmental Adaptability for Industrial Products as its platform, CEI engages in research on fundamental and common technologies such as environmental adaptability and green manufacturing.
