Qingdao Changlong Stationery Co., Ltd., established in May 1988 and located in the Qingdao Economic and Technological Development Zone, is a Sino-foreign cooperative enterprise in China integrating R&D, production, and sales. The company mainly produces series of stationery under brands such as “Snowhite.” Its main product categories include gel pens, ballpoint pens, free-ink/cotton-reservoir rollerball pens, free-ink/cotton-reservoir highlighters, free-ink brush pens, correction fluid, correction tape, whiteboard markers, permanent markers, fountain pens, oil pastels, erasable pens, refills, writing boards, and more—over 400 specifications across 14 categories. To date, the company has become one of Asia’s largest correction fluid manufacturers and one of China’s largest pen manufacturers. “Snowhite,” as the company’s main brand logo, has been accepted and recognized by many consumers. In 2004, it was recognized as a China Well-Known Trademark; Snowhite ballpoint pens were awarded the title of China Famous Brand Product by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine in 2004; and in 2007, Snowhite ballpoint pens and markers were both awarded the China Famous Brand title by the same authority. After twenty years of development, Snowhite has become one of the most influential brands in China’s pen-making industry. In 2003, the company became one of the first in the industry to obtain ISO9001:2000 quality management system, ISO14001 environmental management system, and OHSAS18001 occupational health and safety management system certifications. The company attaches great importance to technological R&D. In 1998, it was recognized as a Qingdao High-Tech Enterprise; in 2000, it was recognized as a municipal-level enterprise technology center; and in 2004, it was further certified as a provincial-level enterprise technology center. In 2000, the company launched an informatization project centered on ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), becoming the first enterprise in China’s stationery industry to successfully operate ERP software. The implementation of ERP at Snowhite Stationery achieved integrated information systems, rationalized business processes, dynamic performance monitoring, and refined corporate management, reducing enterprise operating and management costs and setting an example for using informatization to drive industrialization. The company’s domestic sales business covers all provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions across China, with branches in Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou, and service offices in Shenyang, Wuhan, Chengdu, Xi’an, Changsha, Shandong, Henan, Jiangxi, and other regions.
