Wanda Tire Group was founded in 1988 and is affiliated with Yixingbu Town First Street, Beichen District. Formerly known as “Tianjin Wanli Tire Factory,” it is located on the east side of the Yixingbu toll station of the Beijing-Tianjin-Tanggu Expressway, adjacent to the Outer Ring Road, Jinwei Highway, and Beijing-Tianjin-Tanggu Expressway. It is only 45 minutes from Beijing, 30 minutes from Tianjin Port, the Development Zone, and the Bonded Zone, and just 15 minutes from Tianjin Airport, offering extremely convenient transportation and a highly advantageous geographical location. At the initial stage of its establishment, the group company had a total investment of only RMB 1.2 million and fewer than 100 employees. With a total building area of 3,000 square meters, it was a small village-run factory with simple equipment, outdated technology, and dilapidated workshops, capable only of producing bicycle inner tubes with joints—products that were being phased out by the state at that time. After twelve years of development, Wanda Group has grown into an enterprise with more than 4,000 employees, covering over 300 mu of land, with a building area of nearly 200,000 square meters, total assets of nearly RMB 500 million, and more than 2,100 sets of medium and large-scale equipment. It is capable of producing a full range of bicycle inner and outer tires and is one of the largest, highest-output, most complete-product-range, and most economically efficient enterprises in China’s bicycle and cart tire industry. It was ranked fourth among the Top 100 Large-Scale Township Enterprises in the same industry nationwide by the Ministry of Agriculture.
