Luoyang Northern Ek Chor Motorcycle Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Beiyi Company) is a large specialized motorcycle manufacturer jointly operated by Luoyang Northern Enterprises Group Co., Ltd. of China South Industries Group Corporation and Ek Chor Investment Co., Ltd. of Thailand’s Charoen Pokphand Group. It is also one of the largest Sino-foreign joint ventures in Henan Province. Beiyi Company opened in March 1992, with a total investment of USD 105.97 million, registered capital of USD 56.31 million, and a joint venture term of 30 years. It currently has 2,800 employees, including more than 800 professional and technical personnel. Since its establishment, Beiyi Company has invested tens of millions of dollars in comprehensive technological upgrades to its original production technology facilities, purchased more than 400 advanced domestic and foreign pieces of equipment, introduced internationally advanced C100N-CH motorcycle product technology and equipment from Honda of Japan, and built multiple production lines for engine manufacturing, body welding, painting, blank die-casting, and complete vehicle assembly.
